Explain it simply. Quiz it. Bring it back.
Every student starts in a different place, so the plan is different every time. The rhythm of the lessons is not.
- 1
Tell me where the trouble is
Send the year group, the curriculum, and the topics that are not clicking. A recent test or a marked homework helps more than anything else.
- 2
We start with the gap, not the syllabus
Most struggles in Year 7 come from something missed in Year 5. The first sessions find that spot and repair it before moving forward.
- 3
One topic per lesson, taught live
Lessons run over video with the working shared on screen. The student watches a problem solved line by line and can stop at the exact step that lost them.
- 4
A quiz closes the topic
A short quiz shows what stayed and what did not. Anything missed goes onto the revision list instead of being marked complete.
- 5
Revision brings it back
Earlier topics return on a regular cycle through the term, so the work done in the first weeks is still solid when exams arrive.
